12:01 : Journalists were arrested by the Taliban during a demonstration against Panchir repression and Pakistani interference in Kabul earlier in the day, according to a local journalist employed by France Televisions. The Taliban notably dispersed a demonstration in front of the Pakistani embassy by shooting into the air.
9:30 am : The Taliban fired several shots into the air in Kabul to stop the protest outside the Pakistani embassy, to denounce Islamabad’s interference in Afghan affairs. Pakistan is close to the Taliban regime, in power since mid-August.

• “Bébel” is dead. One of the last sacred monsters of French cinema, Jean-Paul Belmondo, died in Paris at the age of 88. After 50 years of career, the actor saw his career cut short by a stroke in 2001. France will pay homage to him, said Culture Minister Roselyne Bachelot at RTL. “It’s still too early” know how, but “the President of the Republic will fix the contours”, she explained.
Thanks to the drop in the incidence rate in the country, the health pass will no longer be required in malls with more than 20,000 m2 as of Wednesday, except in nine departments that are still in the red, the government announced.
