Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua Challenges Marathi Language Dispute In Maharashtra

Dinesh Lal Yadav, known to fans as ‘Nirahua’, isn’t one to back down. The famous Bhojpuri actor and singer recently threw a bold challenge. He dared anyone to remove him from Maharashtra for speaking Bhojpuri.

This public challenge comes as a heated argument over the Marathi language stirs up Maharashtra. The dispute has spilled into the streets and turned political. Nirahua believes this language fight is “dirty politics.” He thinks it aims to divide people.

A Leader Fires Back

Nirahua’s strong words quickly drew a response. According to news agency PTI, he specifically challenged the Thackeray brothers, Raj and Uddhav. He dared them to kick him out of Maharashtra for using Bhojpuri.

A leader from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) didn’t waste time in replying. This MNS leader suggested that if Nirahua was truly brave, he should visit Maharashtra. The implication was that he would face consequences there.

Nirahua’s Stance

Nirahua laid out his view clearly. “I am giving an open challenge,” he stated. “I don’t speak Marathi. I speak Bhojpuri and I live in Maharashtra. Why are you trying to remove poor people?” He continued, “If you have the guts, then remove me. I challenge you, even if it’s in Mumbai.”

He truly believes that this language dispute is a way to create division. “The beauty of our country lies in its many languages,” he explained. “People who speak different mother tongues live together peacefully. You want to destroy this beauty.”

Recent events show the tension is real. There have been claims that the state government is trying to make Hindi more common. Because of this, MNS workers have reportedly taken action. One shopkeeper near Mumbai was allegedly beaten for not speaking Marathi. Also, the glass door of share market investor Sushil Kedia’s office was reportedly broken. This happened after he clearly said he would not speak Marathi.
