India goalkeeper star batsman Dinesh Karthik has been the topic of discussion after three years in the national team with a bang. But the last three years have not been easy for Dinesh Karthik. Dinesh Karthik has recounted the pain he had to deal with after being kicked out of Team India. Dinesh Karthik revealed that he was in shock after being eliminated from the Indian team.
However, he did not want to miss out on this opportunity after having had a chance in the IPL. Karthik played a brilliant 27-ball 55 inning in the fourth T20 International against South Africa in Rajkot as India beat South Africa by 82 runs to level the series 2-2 on Friday night.
Returning to the Indian team after being out of the team for three years, Dinesh Karthik said: “I want to play for the team right now. The T20 World Cup is very important to me. I want to play for the team in Australia so that my team led me to victory.”
He further said, “I also know how precious it is to play for the India team so I wanted to do something special and fortunately Royal Challengers Bangalore provided me with this platform.”
Karthik further said that his next goal is to help India win the T20 World Cup trophy during the tournament to be held in Australia between October and November this year. Karthik said he had imagined the match conditions on a flight from Visakhapatnam to Rajkot, where he played a brilliant tackle against South Africa in the fourth match.
