Boney Kapoor’s highly anticipated sequel to ‘No Entry’ has been generating buzz lately. The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, was rumored to star Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh. However, it has now been confirmed that Diljit Dosanjh has opted out of the project.
Diljit Dosanjh exits ‘No Entry 2’
According to a Filmfare report, Diljit Dosanjh has backed out of ‘No Entry 2’ due to creative differences. The singer-actor was reportedly excited about working with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, but had differing opinions on the film’s creative direction.
Sources close to the production reveal that Diljit Dosanjh and the film’s team had multiple rounds of discussions about the script. However, he wasn’t satisfied with the content. He wanted a more substantial role with depth in the story. When this couldn’t be achieved, he decided to leave the project.
Who will replace Diljit Dosanjh?
The big question now is who will replace Diljit Dosanjh in ‘No Entry 2’. Although producers Boney Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee haven’t made an official statement, it’s likely that they’ll sign a new actor soon.
Interestingly, despite not being part of ‘No Entry 2’, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan will star together in ‘Border 2’ alongside Sunny Deol. This war drama is expected to be a big production, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
