Diljit Dosanjh Dazzles at International Emmys, Misses Award Wins for ‘Chamkila’

Diljit Dosanjh did not secure a win at the 53rd International Emmy Awards. The actor-singer missed out on an award at the Emmy Awards 2025.

Dosanjh was nominated for Best Actor for his performance in Imtiaz Ali’s film “Amar Singh Chamkila.” The movie also received a nomination for Best TV Mini Movie/Mini Series.

Despite his stylish red carpet appearance, his efforts did not result in an award. This outcome disappointed many of his fans globally.

Oriol Pla won the Best Actor award for “I, Addict.” “Lost Boys and Fairies” was honored as Best TV Mini Movie/Mini Series.

Dosanjh made a striking impression on the red carpet. He attended the event alongside director Imtiaz Ali.

He wore an off-white shimmer suit jacket, a white shirt, a black bow tie, and black trousers. His signature black turban completed his distinguished look.

Netflix India celebrated Dosanjh’s journey to the International Emmys.

The film “Amar Singh Chamkila” premiered on Netflix in 2024. It recounts the life story of the famous Punjabi folk singer.

Parineeti Chopra played the lead female role opposite Dosanjh in the biographical drama.
