However, it wasn’t until his meeting with Saira Banu that he found solace in sleep. In his fond memory, he lovingly addressed Saira as his “pillow” and “sleeping pill”, reminiscing the love they shared during their time together.

Dilip Kumar’s Unpublished Note Revealed

Saira Banu also shared a personal note written by Dilip Kumar, expressing his desire for some rest. The note read: “I am feeling sleepy, what is your advice, aunty?… 100% yours.”

Surprisingly, Saira Banu revealed that Dilip Kumar had ambitions to become a national level sportsman, playing football and cricket with ease. He had even considered pursuing this passion over his acting career.

Born in 1922, Dilip Kumar made his debut in Bollywood with the 1944 film ‘Jwar Bhata’ and went on to star in numerous iconic films including ‘Aan’, ‘Daag’, ‘Madhumati’, and ‘Naya Daur’. He passed away on 7 July 2021, leaving behind a rich legacy of memorable performances and a trailblazing career in Indian cinema.
