The popular role-playing game “Digimon Story Time Stranger” is set to receive its first major post-launch content expansion this winter, introducing new powerful Digimon evolutions and an expansive quest line.
The update, titled “Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension,” will add new Digivolution routes for several Mega-level Digimon.
These include BlitzGreymon, CresGarurumon, Omnimon Zwart Defeat, and Omnimon Alter-B, enhancing player options in combat and strategy.
The pack also features a special quest line that promises to weave encounters across different periods and locations, expanding the game’s narrative.
“Digimon Story Time Stranger” is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms. The base game is required to access the new downloadable content.
Described as an ideal entry point for RPG fans, the game focuses on a deep and engaging experience within the Digimon universe.
Players can access the new content if they purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate editions of the game. It can also be bought separately or as part of a Season Pass.
The game’s core premise involves players taming Digimon and working with them to save both the human world and the digital world, Iliad, which are on the brink of ruin.
Players travel between these worlds and through time, building bonds and evolving skills in a complex story that promises to reveal previously unseen elements of the Digimon universe.
