The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) is coming under fire ahead of the India-New Zealand test series. In fact, a circular on the players’ diet chart is going viral on social media. In this, the board had demanded halal meat for the team’s players. Since then, fans have been targeting BCCI.

Whether the players want to eat vegetables or not, or whether they want to eat halal meat or not, is their personal choice. The board has never issued any instructions in this regard.

As soon as fans learned that the board had demanded halal meat for players, there was an uproar on social media. People started making all kinds of accusations against BCCI. According to the report, the board has published the food menu for Team India players. This includes counter all day, mini breakfast in the stadium, lunch, tea time snack and dinner in the evening. Pork and beef are excluded from this menu. At the same time, halal meat has been included in non-vegetarian dishes.
