Diablo IV players have uncovered a powerful new build that’s causing server issues. YouTuber Macrobioboi recently shared a video showcasing the build, which combines the Legendary Aspect Vampiric Curse with the Boss Power Flesh Reaper.
The Vampiric Curse makes enemies Vulnerable when attacked, while Flesh Reaper stuns them when they’re Vulnerable. Since the Vulnerable status doesn’t clear when stunned, enemies remain stunned until they die.
Server Strain
Adding Varshan’s Life Steal Boss Power creates a complex situation. This power deals massive damage when used with other abilities. The combination overloads the game servers, causing lag.
Wudijo, another YouTuber, tested the build and confirmed the server strain. “There’s a lot of calculations happening at once, so it’s understandable that it causes lag,” he said.
A Recurring Problem
This isn’t the first time Diablo IV’s servers have struggled with a powerful build. Previously, a build that allowed unlimited dodging caused similar issues. Blizzard quickly released a patch to fix the problem.
For now, it’s unclear if Blizzard will address this new build. Players will need to wait and see how the situation unfolds.
