Dhurandhar Director: 18-Hour Shifts for Ranveer’s Film Amid Deepika’s 8-Hour Demand

Director Aditya Dhar, helming Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar’, recently lauded his team for their extensive work hours during production. He revealed that the cast and crew consistently dedicated 16 to 18 hours daily to the project.

This praise came during the trailer launch event for ‘Dhurandhar’, which has already generated significant anticipation among audiences. Dhar specifically highlighted the commitment from everyone involved, from actors to department heads and production assistants.

He stated that for a year and a half, the entire team worked 16-18 hour shifts without complaint. Dhar emphasized that everyone gave their 100%, contributing significantly to the film’s creation.

Dhar’s remarks arrive amidst a broader industry discussion spurred by actress Deepika Padukone’s reported demand for an eight-hour workday. Padukone’s stance has led to an industry debate and reportedly caused her to lose several major film projects. She remains firm on her position.

The contrasting work ethics highlighted by Dhar and Padukone could ignite further discussions about industry labor practices.

‘Dhurandhar’ is set for theatrical release on December 5. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, features a prominent cast alongside Ranveer Singh. This includes Akshay Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun.
