This is Jurrel’s third half-century on the England tour. In his first unofficial Test, he scored 94 runs in 120 balls with 11 fours and 1 six. He missed his century by just 6 runs. In the second innings, he scored 53 runs in 53 balls without getting out. Jurrel is making a strong case for himself in the Indian team.
Last month, the BCCI announced the Indian Test team. Jurrel was chosen as the second wicketkeeper for the 5-Test series against England.
