Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s manager Swaminathan Shankar has filed a multi-million pound fraud complaint at a police station in Bengaluru. To register the case, it was alleged that his friend was deceived by a person in the name of VIP darshan at the temple. Furthermore, the fraudster also described himself as personal assistant to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
According to Indian Express news, Dhoni’s manager Swamimath Shankar said in his complaint that the fraudsters cheated his friend of around Rs 6.3 lakh. He said in the FIR that he received a call from an unknown person on October 26. The caller described himself as personal assistant to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and said he had a judge’s son named Sandeep with him and both wanted to meet Dhoni. Swaminathan thought Sandeep was the finance minister’s personal assistant and introduced both of them to Dhoni on November 30 at a hotel.
