Dhoni and Harbhajan Spotted Together Amidst Friendship Rumors

It’s been a few weeks since Harbhajan Singh made a claim that’s been making headlines – he said it’s been 10 years since he last spoke to MS Dhoni. But, as it often does, a video has surfaced that seems to contradict his statement. The video, which is from a party last December, shows Dhoni and Harbhajan having a great time together. They’re even seen playfully tugging on a chair, which kind of puts a dent in Harbhajan’s claim that they’re not really in touch.

Now, Harbhajan has made comments in the past about not being particularly close to Dhoni, but this video tells a different story. It’s not the first time they’ve been seen together, of course – they’ve played a lot of cricket together over the years. In fact, Harbhajan has played 212 matches with Dhoni across all formats, including 133 under his captaincy. They were even part of the teams that won the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup. And, as recently as 2018 and 2019, they played together for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.

Their cricketing history together

Their on-field partnership goes back a long way, and Harbhajan has often spoken about the time they spent playing together. He was a key part of the CSK team that made it to the finals in 2019, picking up 16 wickets in the process. While Harbhajan announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in December 2021, Dhoni is still going strong – CSK retained him for the 2025 IPL season for a whopping 4 crore rupees.

As the video of the two cricketers at the party continues to make the rounds on social media, it’s raised a few eyebrows. Some people are even drawing comparisons between Harbhajan and Ashneer Grover, and Dhoni and Salman Khan – apparently, their dynamic is similar to that of the two celebrities. As one Twitter user pointed out, “Harbhajan Singh is Ashneer Grover. MS Dhoni is Salman Khan.” The tweet has sparked a lot of discussion, with many people weighing in on the unlikely comparison.
