DHL Supply Chain and Monta team up

DHL Supply Chainpart of the Deutsche Post DHL group, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the Dutch company specializing in e-commerce, Monta. With this agreement, both companies seek to establish a solid relationship to serve small and medium-sized online stores in the field of e-fulfillment for electronic commerce. By accelerating the international deployment of Monta’s logistics services, DHL will be able to respond even better to the specific needs of SMEs and smaller online store customers, and Monta will be able to better serve its growing customers.

Founded in 1999, Monta has quickly become one of the leading providers of e-commerce and e-fulfillment services in the Netherlands. With a workforce of 1,000 people and 14 distribution centers, the company handles 12 million e-commerce orders and generated annual revenue of more than €100 million in 2021. Monta currently services some 1,500 online stores and Mid-sized and fast-growing e-merchants through a wide range of warehouse management software and fulfillment services.
