The makers of the upcoming film ‘Peddi,’ starring Janhvi Kapoor, have postponed a significant announcement. This decision comes in response to the passing of veteran actor Dharmendra on Monday.
Producers shared a post confirming the delay, which was originally scheduled for 4:05 PM on Monday. The team cited Dharmendra’s passing as the reason for holding back the announcement.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ features a prominent ensemble cast. Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor lead the film. They are supported by Divyendu Sharma, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.
Sukumar Writings, Mythri Movie Makers, and T-Series are producing the film. It is being jointly presented under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner.
Oscar winner A.R. Rahman is composing the music for the film. Rathnavelu handles cinematography, Kolla Avinash art direction, and Naveen Nooli editing.
The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 27, 2026. It will be released in all major languages.
