The “He-Man” of Bollywood passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving the industry in sorrow. The remembrance ceremony took place at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai.

A notable absence was Hema Malini, Dharmendra’s second wife, and their daughters, Esha and Ahana. Their non-attendance became a prominent topic of discussion on social media.
Earlier that day, Hema Malini had shared a heartfelt post. She reflected on her life being deeply intertwined with Dharmendra, now feeling an irreplaceable void.
Interestingly, several celebrities opted to visit Hema Malini’s residence directly in the evening. This group included Boney Kapoor, Madhu Shah, and Esha Deol’s ex-husband Bharat Takhtani.
Asif Bhamla, founder of the Bhamla Foundation, also shared his tribute. He called Dharmendra “the real He-Man” and thanked him for inspiring generations.
