The nominations for the 96th Academy Awards have been announced. “Oppenheimer,” directed by Christopher Nolan, won this year’s Oscar nominations. There’s also Emma Stone’s “Pure Things” and Leonardo DiCaprio-Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon.” “Killers of the Flower Moon” was nominated in 10 categories this year.
In a new interview with “Extra TV” on Thursday, the actress revealed that “Killers of the Flower Moon” co-star Caprio sent her a message congratulating her. Gladstone said: “Caprio was very proud of me.” I told him that I had seen it with my parents and they were thrilled with my performance. We were mad at you though!'
Leonardo played the role of anti-hero in Killers of the Flower Moon.

Of Caprio, Gladstone added: “He did an incredible job in the film. He brought an impossible character to life so much that it made my job a lot easier. He told me right before the Golden Globes, “Regardless of the outcome, I think you're amazing and I'm proud of you.”
Meanwhile, DiCaprio is happy with Gladstone's Oscar nomination, despite being denied a nomination himself. Leo congratulated Gladstone in a post on Instagram after the nomination was announced. He said: “Congratulations to my dear friend Lily Gladstone, who has made Oscar history.” “The first Indian-American woman to be nominated in the Best Actress category for 'Killers of the Flower Moon' and the fourth Indian-American Actress in Oscar history nominated in this category.”
Lily Gladstone thanked Caprio in the post after being touched by such a greeting.
