A few hours before the duel between Real Madrid and Manchester City begins in search of a place in the Champions League final, the players and coaches of both teams are leaving statements in which they admire the rival. One of them is Foden. The Englishman, who was present at City’s elimination at the Bernabéu last year, assures that he was impressed with the atmosphere at the Bernabéu and that he had a great experience despite falling tragically and running out.
“Despite losing last year at the Bernabéu, I love Real Madrid and their stadium. The atmosphere and playing in a stadium like this is really incredible. I enjoyed every moment, but obviously then the game didn’t go the way we wanted and I went home sad, but just the experience of playing at the Bernabéu was incredible.e”, assured the Englishman in the run-up to the match against the Madrid team.
The attacker also wanted to talk about the options that his team has this year in the tie, in which he hopes to be able to eliminate the white team and reach the final: “I think we have a great opportunity ahead of us, so we have to be positive. We have to believe in ourselves. We have already reached the final before, so we have already shown that we can be in these rounds” Foden ended by saying that he hopes the end of the tie will be different from last year.
