After three films Despicable Me and two films minions which continue to be a hit at the international box office (1.034 billion for the third film Greetings, 940 million on the second Minions), Enlightenment doesn’t seem to want to sit on his goose that lays the golden eggs. Despicable Me 4 will be published on July 3, 2024 in cinemas around the world and follows exactly the same recipe as its predecessors: a simple story, a villain, minions. The gags even seem a bit seen and reviewed. In any case, this franchise should be continued for the benefit of animated cinema.
