The World Health Organization (WHO) in its guidelines on mental health protection in the workplace has suggested that reducing the workload and negative attitudes of employees is necessary to combat these risks.

WHO has suggested that managers should be trained to improve the working environment in offices so that they can work better without putting pressure on the employees.

The WH and World Mental Health Report, published in June, reported that in 2019, one billion people worldwide suffered from mental illness, with 15% of those in the workforce.

The report states that post-Covid-19, there has been a 25% increase in patients with depression and anxiety globally.
