According to ARY News, Pakistanis in different cities of the UK came out on the streets to express solidarity with Imran Khan and the participants of the real freedom march. Demonstrations were held in various cities including London, Bradford, Glasgow.
A large number of overseas Pakistanis gathered outside Ten Downing Street, the residence of the British Prime Minister in London. The protesters demanded an investigation into the involvement of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in the assassination plot against Imran Khan.
Tehreek-e-Insaf activists also protested outside the Pakistan Consulate in Bradford. PTI UK President Malik Imran Khalil also participated in the demonstration.
Overseas Pakistanis protested in front of the Pakistani Consulate in Glasgow in connection with the real independence march in Scotland. Despite the rain, children and women participated in the protest.
The protesters demanded immediate new elections in Pakistan and the implementation of real democracy and a fair investigation into the murder case of senior journalist Arshad Sharif.
