Delta Air Lines Plane Evacuated After Engine Fire at Orlando International Airport

A Delta Air Lines plane caught fire at Orlando International Airport on Monday morning. The Airbus A330 was preparing to depart for Atlanta when flames were seen coming from one of its engines.

The incident occurred around 10:40 a.m. local time. Passengers were quickly evacuated using emergency slides. No injuries were reported.

Emergency Response

The airport’s fire department responded quickly to control the fire. Delta Airlines said the crew followed safety procedures and got everyone off the plane. The plane had 282 passengers, 10 flight attendants, and 2 pilots on board.
