Delhi Capitals have announced the replacement of Rishabh Pant. In IPL 2023, Bengal goalkeeper batsman Abhishek Porel has been listed instead of Rishabh. Due to injury, Pant has been ruled out of the 16th season. The regular captain for Delhi Capitals is currently recovering from injury. In his absence, David Warner has been named team captain. While Akshar Patel will play the role of vice-captain.
According to media reports, Bengal goalkeeper batsman Abhishek Porel has been included in the Delhi Capitals squad. Recently, Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting had tested some of India’s goalkeepers to find a replacement for Rishabh Pant. Many porters were called to Delhi in this trial which lasted for 5-6 days. Abhishek Porel was also listed in these wicketkeepers. Now there is talk that his team will be included in Delhi Capitals.
Indian cricket team batsman Rishabh Pant was injured in a car accident while traveling to Roorkee in December. So he tore the ligament in his leg. Apart from this, his hand, leg and back were also injured. The primary treatment of him was first done at the Max Hospital in Dehradun. After that, he was referred to Mumbai.
