Deepak Hooda Completes Special Century In IPL 2023, Achieves Major Feat Against Punjab Kings

The 21st match of IPL 2023 will take place between Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants. This match between the two will be played at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Through this match, Lucknow Super Giants all-rounder Deepak Hooda is playing his 100th match. Deepak Hooda made his IPL debut in 2015. In his debut match, he scored 30 runs off 15 balls by hitting 1 four and 3 sixes.

Deepak Hooda made his IPL debut in 2015 for Rajasthan Royals. Deepak has so far played for Rajasthan Royals, Hyderabad Sunrisers, Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants in his IPL career and in the current season he is playing for Lucknow. Lucknow bought it for Rs 5.75 crore.

Through his impressive performance in domestic cricket (for Baroda) and IPL, Deepak achieved his place in the India team and made his international debut in February 2022. Deepak has played a total of 10 ODIs and 21 T20 Internationals in his international career so far. While batting in ODIs, he scored 153 runs and took 3 wickets in bowling. Whilst batting in T20 International Deepak scored 368 runs at a strike rate of 147.20 and took 6 wickets in bowling.

Except for the match being played against Punjab today, Deepak has played a total of 99 matches in his IPL career so far. While batting in 79 innings of these matches, he scored 1,271 runs at a strike rate of 129.96 and took 10 wickets at an average of 50.90 while bowling 31 innings. During this, his economy has been 8.63.
