The wait is finally over, folks! Kojima Productions has just announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to hit the shelves on June 26th of this year, exclusively for the PlayStation 5. To get us even more hyped, the team has released a brand-new trailer that’s a whopping 10 minutes long, giving us a sneak peek into the game’s storyline, cutscenes, and gameplay. We’re also introduced to a slew of new characters, including The President (voiced by Alastair Duncan), Lucy (Arissa Jung), Charlie, Red Samurai, Neil (Luca Marinelli), and Doctor (Debra Wilson), each with their own crucial roles to play in the narrative.
As we dive deeper into the trailer, we notice that Neil is seen donning a familiar-looking headband, which bears an uncanny resemblance to Solid Snake’s iconic gear from the Metal Gear Solid series. This Easter egg has left fans speculating about possible connections between the two games. The trailer is packed with action, drama, and suspense, setting the stage for what promises to be an epic adventure.
