South Indian film actor and comedian Mohan Juneja died on Saturday at the age of 54. Mohan had been ill for a long time and was receiving treatment at a hospital in Bangalore. Mohan made his debut with Shankar Nag’s film Wall Poster. He worked in more than 100 movies in his film career. He recently also worked on the Kannada movie KGF and KGF Chapter 2. Mohan had also worked on many TV series.

Apart from Kannada, Mohan Raj has also been part of the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries. Mohan was a resident of Tumkur in Karnataka. He played the role of villain in his career. Apart from this, he also gained a lot of name in comedy. Chellata is at the top of his memorable movies. Mohan has worked with many big stars including actors like Darshan, Puneet Rajkumar, Ambareesh and Shivrajkumar.

Mohan Juneja appeared in both the Yash-starring movie ‘KGF Chapter 1’ and ‘KGF Chapter 2’, although her role was not very long in both movies. In ‘KGF’, Mohan Juneja played the character of Nagaraju, an informant for journalist Anand Ingalagi, who narrates Rocky Bhai’s story to the journalist. Although the role in the film was small, he was an important link in the story.

Homeballe Films, one of the producers of KGF 2, expressed their sorrow at Mohan’s death. Hombale Films tweeted: “Our deepest condolences to the family, friends and supporters of actor Mohan Juneja. He was one of the best known faces in Kannada films and our KGF family.”
