DC vs RR: Where did Rajasthan Royals lose and what were the reasons for the loss? Sanju Samson replied

In the match held on Wednesday night at IPL, Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets. Rajasthan gave tremendous competition in this match, but due to some failing catches and lack of luck, Rajasthan had to lose this match. After the match, Sanju Samson also mentioned these things in the reasons for the loss.

Sanju Samson said: ‘Tonight was very disappointing. We were a few races and a few wickets away from victory. We think we scored 15 short runs while batting first. We weren’t even lucky in this match. A few catches were missed, even though the ball hit the stump, the bails didn’t drop.

Butler missed two catches in this game. Butler dropped an easy catch from David Warner, while Mitchell Marsh also missed a catch off Butler’s hand, although this catch was very difficult for Butler standing on the edge. With this, David Warner was saved by coming out with a ball from Yuzvendra Chahal. In reality, Yuzvendra’s ball had hit the stump but the balls did not fall. Because of this, Warner was unable to unsubscribe.

Rajasthan also suffered badly from not taking a review of Mitchell Marsh’s lbw. Marsh could have been hit by a ball from Trent Boult early in the innings. But this review was not taken. Marsh then played a special role in Delhi’s victory by playing an 89-run inning. When Sanju Samson was questioned after the game, he said, “I thought the ball hit the bat and there was no contact with the bag.” Sanju Samson also said that ‘it’s important to come back strong after losing. In the next match, our focus will remain on this. Hopefully Hetmyer will also be with us in the next game.
