DB Schenker, the leading supply chain management and logistics company, has acquired the technology company Bitergo. Since its founding in 2013, the software specialist has offered logistics and consulting solutions, focusing on warehousing, supply chain execution and mobile applications.
DB Schenker and Bitergo have been collaborating closely for three years. Through this acquisition, carried out on May 31, the logistics provider reinforces its digital strategy and introduces itself in cloud-hosted software for small and medium-sized customers. With standardized modules for supply chain technologies, the logistics service provider can meet the individual needs of customers and respond to the increasing complexity of logistics.
