Davis Cup: Argentina already has its match schedule

The team captained by Guillermo Coria, which is in the final stages of the Davis Cup, today learned its schedule of Group A matches, in which it will face Italy, Sweden and Croatia, and will take place at the Unipol Arena in Bologna.

The Argentine Tennis Team will begin its participation in the group stage of the Davis Cup Finals on Tuesday, September 13 with Sweden, whose figure is Mikael Ymer (98th in the ranking).

Then, on Friday the 16th, he will have the toughest matchup -in principle- against Italy, which is the great candidate of the group due to its location and for boasting a team with several high-level tennis players such as Matteo Berrettini (8th), Jannik Sinner (13 °), Lorenzo Sonego (28th), Lorenzo Musetti (51st) and Fabio Fognini (58th).

Finally, Argentina will close its participation against Croatia on Saturday 17, in which the faces will be seen again after the historic final of Zagreb 2016, where the national team won its first Davis Cup trophy.

After the triumph of the Coria team in March against the Czech Republic, at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis, Argentina returns to the final instances and the three commitments will start at 12:00.

It should be noted that the first two teams in each group will advance to the elimination phase, the duels will be played in three matches to the best of three sets.

Those who manage to advance to the next stage will have to face heads-up at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in Malaga, Spain, from November 21 to 27, 2022.

The following are the groups of the final phase of the Davis Cup 2022:
