Davide Frattesi Dedicates Goal to Late Grandmother

Davide Frattesi’s night to remember. The 25-year-old midfielder scored the second goal in Inter’s 2-1 win over Bayern Munich.
It was a tough time for him – his grandma had passed away and he was close to her.
He said: “I was struggling to be myself. I think my grandma had a role in this win. Maybe she cheered me on from above.”

Frattesi believed his mental strength was his biggest asset. But dealing with his grandma’s death was harder than he thought.
He said: “I was surprised by how tough it was. I was very close to my grandma.”

After the game, Frattesi posted on social media to thank fans for their support.

This season, Frattesi has six goals and one assist in 39 games for Inter.
