David Warner Predicts RCB to Win IPL 2025 Trophy

The stage is set for the IPL final, and Royal Challengers Bangalore has already booked their spot. Now, it’s a showdown between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians to claim the second finalist position. But before that, David Warner made a bold prediction about the eventual winner. He thinks RCB will take home the trophy and even names Josh Hazelwood as the player of the match in the final.

Warner, who led Sunrisers Hyderabad to championship glory under his captaincy, was asked on social media about his pick for the Tata IPL 2025 champion. He replied, “I think RCB and Josh Hazelwood man of the match.” This is a significant endorsement, considering Warner’s experience and knowledge of the game.

RCB has been impressive this season, with their batsmen, bowlers, and fielders all clicking together. They secured their spot in the final by defeating Punjab in Qualifier 1. With 9 wins from 14 matches, RCB finished second in the points table, level on points with table-toppers Punjab but behind on net run rate.

One of RCB’s key players, Faf du Plessis, has been in top form, scoring 614 runs from 14 matches. Although he won’t win the Orange Cap, his contributions have been crucial to RCB’s success. On the bowling front, Josh Hazelwood has been the standout performer for RCB, claiming 21 wickets from 11 matches. While it’s a long shot, he still has a chance to win the Purple Cap if he can take 5 wickets in the final.

The IPL final is scheduled for June 3, with the second finalist to be decided by the winner of the second Qualifier. Will Warner’s prediction come true, or will another team spoil the party? Only time will tell.
