Danny Ramírez: Top Gun, Marvel Actor Linked to Jessica Alba

Hollywood is always buzzing with new faces, and one name quickly making waves is Danny Ramírez. You might know him from blockbuster hits or popular streaming shows. But recently, he’s been in the spotlight for a different reason: his unexpected connection with actress Jessica Alba.

In July 2025, cameras caught Ramírez and Alba together. They were seen leaving Cancún and heading back to Los Angeles. This sighting, first reported by TMZ, certainly turned heads in the entertainment world. It came just a few months after Alba filed for divorce from Cash Warren in February 2025. She and Warren had been married for 16 years and share three children: Honor, Haven, and Hayes. So, who is Danny Ramírez, the actor now linked to Alba? Let’s dive into his story.

From the Field to the Film Set

Born on September 17, 1992, Danny Ramírez once had a very different dream. He played soccer for Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. "As a kid, I told myself, ‘There’s only one thing I’m going to be when I grow up, and that’s a professional athlete,’" he shared with Empire magazine in February 2025.

Life had other plans. A ankle injury during his freshman year kept him off the field. While he was on crutches recovering, a production assistant for the 2012 film The Reluctant Fundamentalist visited the soccer field looking for extras. "A movie production assistant came by asking if anyone wanted to be an extra," Ramírez remembered. That small moment changed everything. "The next day, I bought all my acting books." It marked a clear shift in his path.

"To this day, we text all the time; he’s still one of the fastest responders on the planet," Ramírez told Men’s Health in February 2025. "He replies even faster than my Maverick co-star Jay Ellis." Ramírez learned a vital lesson from Cruise: "How you do anything is how you do everything." He also noted Cruise’s amazing understanding of filmmaking. "He has such a deep grasp of the craft," Ramírez explained, "that it gives him total freedom of understanding. Not just about the movie itself, but how it will be received." For Ramírez, this means "putting in the work." He focuses on what he can control, then lets go when the project begins.

Major Roles and Marvel Moments

Ramírez has built an impressive resume. His early TV roles include Orange Is the New Black, The Affair, and Blindspot. On the big screen, he’s appeared in films like Assassination Nation, The Giant, and Valley Girl. He’s also been in episodes of Black Mirror and Silo. Ramírez clearly admires Pascal. "Pedro and I are going to work together for a long time; I adore him," he enthused. "He’s incredibly intuitive." Ramírez praised Pascal’s acting process. "The way he breaks down story — I mean, he’s Pedro for a reason. It’s not just because he’s a star. He is a star, but he’s also an artist." He added that Pascal’s approach is "incredibly genuine and vulnerable." Ramírez is excited about their future projects. He fondly remembered their time on The Last of Us set in Canada. "The dynamic was so much fun just arriving on set, and even being there together on set."

Dedicated to Fitness

Playing a superhero like Falcon demands serious physical commitment. Ramírez shared his intense fitness regimen for the role. He trained with Nic Shimonek, focusing on unique movements.

"A lot of the things we do and his warmups are animal-like movements," Ramírez explained. He mentioned "lizard crawls, bear crawls." These exercises felt natural, almost primitive. "That was what gave the best results," he noted. "Because every day, I would warm up my shoulders in a very specific way: bear crawls and Spider-Man-type crawls." He emphasized how effective these workouts were for his superhero role. "That work was truly effective, as my shoulders got so much more attention."
