Dani Sordo shows his claws in Mexico

He has made it clear that he is out for the two ears and the tail of the Rally of Mexico. Dani Sordo has shown his claws in the ‘shakedown’ of the American event, in which he was the fastest in the first two passes. Although in the end they surpassed him in the third and fourth Esapekka Lappi, Kalle Rovanpera and Sebastien Ogier, the Spaniard has all the wickers to shine in the third round of the World Cup.

The Llano Grande special, of 5.5 kilometres, has served to measure forces before this morning start the competition with the two passes through the spectacular urban section of Guanajuato and its famous mining tunnels. For the first time this season the contest is facing gravel stages, and for the first time since 2020 Mexico is visited.

And Sordo has made it clear that he wants to shine.
