The season 34 finale of Dancing With the Stars is fast approaching. Viewers can expect special freestyle performances from the remaining celebrity and professional dancer pairs.
The highly anticipated songs for the freestyle round have been officially revealed. Season 33 winner Joey Graziadei announced the selections on the show’s official podcast.
The finale is set to air on Tuesday, November 25. It will broadcast live on ABC and Disney+ at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes become available the following day on Hulu.
Five couples remain in contention for the Mirrorball Trophy. The songs for the other two rounds of the competition will be announced closer to the event.
Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and her partner Ezra Sosa will dance their freestyle to "Motivation" by Normani.
Social media personality Alix Earle and professional Val Chmerkovskiy plan a mashup for their performance. They will use "Maneater" by Nelly Furtado and "Sports Car" by Tate McRae.
Dylan Efron, partnered with Daniella Karagach, has chosen "Something in the Heavens" by Lewis Capaldi.
Actress Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten are scheduled to perform to "Opening: I Hope I Get It" for their freestyle.
Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and Witney Carson will dance to a combination of "Black and Gold" by Sam Sparro and "The Nights" by Avicii.
This announcement follows a surprising elimination during the semifinals, held on Tuesday, November 18. Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas were sent home after their "Prince Night" performance.
Leavitt spoke to Entertainment Tonight following her exit. She confirmed the Dancing With the Stars experience was "definitely worth it."
She added that she would "do it all over again." Leavitt expressed gratitude for progressing further than she had initially expected.
"I’m so grateful I got to this point," Leavitt stated. She reflected that childhood dreams, once seemingly unattainable, now "feel within my grasp."
