Dallas Cowboys discuss extending contract to Dak Prescott

Stephen JonesVice President and CEO of the dallas cowboysassured that the team is considering extending the contract of the quarterback dak prescott for the long term, according to a report from Calvin Watkins for Dallas Morning News.

For now Prescott, 29, is signed through 2024 with an average salary of $40 million per year; which represents the eighth place among quarterbacks.

Dak passed for 2,860 yards, 23 touchdowns and suffered a league-high 15 interceptions.

The Cowboys project to be approximately $9.8 million over capthis at the beginning of the low season.
