Curry and the Warriors ready to look for another ring

Stephen Curry is coming off another great season and is now ready to pursue another championship with a lineup that includes familiar faces and other young revelations.

After becoming NBA scoring champion for the second time, Curry wants to capitalize on the clean and jerk the Golden State Warriors took at the end of the season before the abrupt finale in the mini-tournament against Memphis.

“I know what we are capable of and we have a very talented group, young people with great energy and potential and who have a lot to achieve in the league and I hope we can bring the two facets together every night on the court,” said Curry, who averaged 32 points.

The Warriors are excited about the highly anticipated return of Klay Thompson, away from the court for two years due to a couple of major injuries – first, a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee he sustained in Game 6 of the Finals. NBA 2019, and then a ruptured Achilles tendon that also required surgery in November, before the start of training camp.

“I don’t have a date, but I don’t anticipate anything before the 12 months are up. That would be at least late November and early December, ”Thompson said.

Meanwhile, Curry bets on the supporting cast of Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, rising Jordan Poole and veteran Andre Iguodala among others.

LET THEM PULL

Coach Steve Kerr ensures that it does not matter if the Warriors try 80 3-pointers in a game, if they can be smart with their shots and know how to pass the ball.

“I don’t care how many shots they take. I worry that they are not good shots, “he said.

IGGY RETURNS

Andre Iguodala will be a major veteran on Kerr’s team, almost like an on-court coach after 18 years in the NBA. He was part of three Warriors titles in his first stint with the team.

The 37-year veteran and MVP of the 2015 Finals spent six seasons with Golden State before spending the last two years with Miami, which declined her $ 15 million option. He returned to the Warriors by signing a one-year contract and the veteran’s minimum wage of just over $ 2.6 million.
