The paiN Gaming team, led by Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt, achieved a historic first by qualifying for the playoffs of a Counter-Strike 2 Major. When asked about the team’s success, biguzera revealed that it wasn’t just about the usual strategies and tactics. He shared that during their training in Brazil, he took a unique approach to clear his mind – a bath with coarse salt.

Biguzera explained that after the bath, the team started to gain momentum, coming back from 0-2 to 3-2 in their matches. He acknowledged that it might be a coincidence, but the team’s performance improved significantly after that.

From Low to High

At the beginning of stage 2, paiN Gaming was on the verge of elimination, losing their first two matches. But biguzera’s positivity helped turn things around. He reminded his teammates that they had lost to good teams and that it was normal. With renewed energy, they started winning, gaining strength with each victory.
