Brazilian esports organization FURIA is on the verge of claiming the top global ranking in Counter-Strike 2, currently holding the second position in Valve’s official standings.
The team, known as “Pantera,” accumulated 1924 Valve Points in the latest rankings updated Tuesday. They trail only four points behind current leader Vitality, which holds 1928 points.
FURIA stands as the sole Brazilian organization within the top 10, highlighting its dominant position in the country’s esports scene. The next closest Brazilian team, Legacy, is ranked 13th globally.
This rise follows FURIA’s recent victory at the Thunderpick World Championship 2025. They secured the championship title after defeating Natus Vincere (NAVI) in a best-of-five final.
The Brazilian squad achieved an “epic comeback,” winning the series 3-2. The triumph also awarded them a prize of $200,000.
