The esports world saw some serious shake-ups on Friday, August 29th, as the BLAST Open London Counter-Strike 2 tournament hit its third day. The competition got tougher, with several teams facing the brutal reality of elimination. For others, it meant dropping into the lower bracket, where every match becomes a do-or-die situation.
Virtus.pro and ECSTATIC were among the teams that packed their bags. They were officially knocked out of the tournament. Meanwhile, GamerLegion and Natus Vincere suffered losses in the upper bracket. This sent them down into the lower bracket, adding more pressure to their journey.

The BLAST Open London show continues this Saturday, August 30th. Group B will take center stage with its own set of critical matches. Teams will fight in both the upper and lower brackets. Every match follows a best-of-three (MD3) format. Losing a series in the lower bracket means an automatic exit from the competition.

Both Group A and Group B will see more action on Sunday, August 31st. This day features the semifinals for the lower brackets. Like all other series, these will also be decided in a best-of-three format. Every team will fight to keep their tournament dreams alive.
