Ripple Will Lose XRP Lawsuit
The XRP lawsuit is a major topic in the XRP news. That is because the outcome of the case largely determines the future of the altcoin. If the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is right, XRP is a security and Ripple can close its doors in the United States.
But if Ripple wins the case, this can also mean good news for the rest of the crypto market. While and occasionally some positive sounds can be heard about the possible outcome, not everyone is positive. The CEO of Chia Network, Gene Hoffman, expects Ripple to lose the case.
EU wants to bring in $ 2.4 billion by taxing bitcoin, among other things
Where money is made, of course, the tax authorities soon come into play. Last week, The Block reported that the European Union wants to introduce new legislation to close the ‘gap in regulation’. This would reportedly include new tax.
It is not yet clear what exactly this will look like. However, the EU would like to drag in $ 2.4 billion in tax money with the new legislation. FTX CEO tried to completely implode crypto
And then some FTX news. Every day new things become clear about this fiasco. For example, we read yesterday that the ex-CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), even planned to implode other stablecoins.
He would have wanted to do this to save FTX. Binance’s CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), is said to have urged him to stop doing so in personal messages. “Stop trying to break the link between stablecoins and the underlying and stop doing anything at all. Stop now, don’t cause more damage,” CZ wrote to the former FTX CEO.
