The crypto market turns green for a second day in a row and today it comes with good news from Brazil. The legalization of crypto as a means of payment caused many prices to take a big jump last night.
Ethereum and related cryptocurrencies in particular performed strongly. There seems to be hope in the market that Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s speech tonight will be positive, but that is far from certain. The total market capitalization of crypto is up 2.2% to $892 billion.

Bitcoin is hitting $17,000
Bitcoin (BTC) briefly touched $17,000 last night after the positive news. For the time being, the price seems to be holding above $16,900 and bitcoin is up 2.6% today. However, there seems to be a lot of resistance in this area and more volatility may follow tonight with the Fed speech.
