Recently KuCoin unveiled its new non-fungible token (NFT) Marketplace Windvane as well as a $100 million fund† This “Creator Fund” is intended to support the NFT marketplace, but above all to help young artists and new projects in the emerging world of Web 3.0 and NFTs.
What is SakuraVerse?
SakuraVerse is the first project to be supported by KuCoin’s new fund. It is an innovative platform with a decentralized infrastructure and built-in social features for blockchain games. Justin Chou, chief investment officer from KuCoin Ventures, says:

SakuraVerse’s core team comes from some of the largest computer game companies in the world and spans 5 studios. The team has already attracted more than 40 million players to traditional games and has a lot of experience with blockchain technology, according to KuCoin.
KuCoin’s investment is intended to drive the growth of the Sakura platform, as well as the team and development of popular games. SakuraVerse CEO Amaji reports that the team plans to launch later this year a football game to be released in the run-up to the World Cup.
