Cruise ship drug case: Aryan Khan gets clean chit

Mumbai: Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan got a clean chit in a cruise ship-drug case.

According to Indian media reports, in today’s hearing, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) presented a charge sheet in the cruise ship drug case in the court, which did not include the name of Shah Rukh Khan’s son.

The report presented in the court said that no evidence could be found in the drug case against Aryan and no involvement of Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drug case could be proved.

The chargesheet states that no evidence was found against the six persons against whom no evidence was found, besides Aryan Khan, Sahoo, Anand, Sunil and Arora. A case has been registered against the remaining 14 persons. Both Manman Dhamicha and Arbaaz Merchant have been charged.

It may be recalled that Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested during a raid on a cruise ship party on October 2 last year, which caused a stir in the media.

Aryan Khan was charged with possession of drugs and being part of an international drug gang. Aryan Khan spent 26 days in jail after his arrest, after which he was released on bail.
