Sachin Tendulkar, who is called the cricket master blaster, is the player who plays the most test matches. He is also the player who scores the most runs and the most centuries in test cricket. He has only been stumped once in his 200 test matches. On this day (December 21), 20 years ago, he lost his window when he stumbled for the first and last time.

In 2001, the England team was on tour in India. In the first two matches of the three-match test series, one was in favor of India and another match ended in a draw. The third test was played in Bangalore. Indian bowlers pitched England’s first inning with 336 runs. In response, English bowlers also started sending Indian batsmen one after another. Sachin Tendulkar was standing in the crease after scoring 90 runs on the third day of the match. Ashley Giles was pitching the final 73rd of innings. On his fifth ball, Sachin stepped forward and tried to hit a shot, but the ball went over the bat and into the hands of goalkeeper James Foster. Faster was immediately puzzled and showed Sachin the way to the pavilion.

This rainy event was a draw and the series was 1-0 on behalf of India. Sachin Tendulkar was chosen “Man of the series”.
