Some of these players are also seen in the IPL this season. Pat Cummins Kolkata, David Warner Delhi Capitals and Jos Hazlewood play for RCB. Mitchell Starc and Steve Smith will not play IPL this season.

David Warner was seen playing for Delhi Capitals this season. Delhi had bought it at the mega auction for Rs 6 crore 25 lakh. Warner has scored 432 runs in 12 games this season with a 48.00 average and a 150.52 strike rate. Kolkata Knight Riders bought Pat Cummins this time for Rs 7 crore 25 lakh. At the same time, RCB bought Jose Hazlewood at the mega auction for Rs 7 crore 75 lakh. Hazlewood has taken 15 wickets in 10 games with an average of 20.73 and an economy of 8.07.
