Crack continues to wreak havoc in Paris

Since the end of June, drug addicts no longer have access to the Eole gardens in the 18th and 19th arrondissements of Paris. But they are now gathering in front of the garden gates, still disrupting the daily lives of exasperated residents.

At the end of June, the evacuation of the Eole gardens aimed to bring down a symbol of drug consumption in the Parisian public space. Two months later, the drug addicts are still there, outside the gates of the parc fermé. The situation exasperates the residents, despite the few police checks.

Faced with this situation, the State and the town hall are passing the buck, while “the crack village” grows a little more each day. In June, Anne Hidalgo had requested the support of addicts by the State, without success.
