Cádiz, Spain – Cádiz CF has officially announced the signing of José Antonio Caro, a highly experienced goalkeeper with a proven track record in the Spanish Second Division. Caro joins the team along with sporting director Juanjo Lorenzo and technical secretary Juan Cala, who expressed their satisfaction with the signing.

"We are really happy with him, he is a player with a lot of experience in the Second Division and who has had some great seasons with Burgos," said Cala. "We are very pleased with his signing and we hope that he can repeat the level of his last few seasons in Cádiz."

Caro’s arrival at the club marks a personal and professional challenge for him, as he seeks to help Cádiz return to the top division. In an interview, Caro stated, "Any team will compete with you and if you relax you will get vaccinated. It is important to be a team and be strong at home. For me, it’s about winning and going game by game, and that way, I’m sure it will be a great year for everyone."

Caro expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to join Cádiz, saying, "I’m very happy to be here. Having the chance to defend a shield like Cádiz is incredible. Despite being relegated, it’s important to get back to the goal and focus on it."

Defining His Style of Play

When asked how he defines himself, Caro responded, "I don’t like to talk about myself very much. I am clear that I will give my best to demonstrate my qualities in Cádiz. One of my strong points is my footwork and I think I can give a lot in that area and I also think that I read the game very well."
