With the interest of improving infrastructures and guaranteeing the drinking water and sanitation service in the country, Corvi, a leader in the manufacture of steel and PVC pipes, is providing after-sales technical assistance to contractors and various clients who require collaboration in the different facilities .
This is an initiative to manage the quality and efficiency of processes and interventions and for this they schedule technical visits to important public and private works.
During the visits, they train, advise and assist construction sector collaborators who develop drinking water supply and sanitation projects, taking into account Corvi’s commitment to quality service.
As an initial phase, this service is being provided in public and private hydraulic projects at the national level, such as the laying of a 20" on Ecological Avenue in Santo Domingo Este; Line placement of 20" in San Felipe, Villa Mella; Sanitary Sewer System of the Municipality of Juan Dolió; Juan Dolio sewage discharge line.
As well as real estate and tourism projects developed by the private sector throughout the national territory, among others.
Corvi’s technical advisor, engineer Pablo Moya, explained that a correct selection of PVC pipes and then an adequate installation have an impact on guaranteeing that they have a useful life that exceeds 50 years of service.
He said that using Corvi’s PVC pipes that have national and international certifications and that meet all quality standards guarantees that there will be no breakdowns, breakages and that the investment made is taken care of.
The person in charge of after-sales service, engineer Rubén Pérez, highlighted that the engineers and installers are trained in the following topics: what is PVC; how PVC pipes are manufactured; what are the international standards and specifications that PVC pipes must comply with; what are its uses and applications; what is the correct form of transportation; Testing of the pipes and their correct installation on site.
