Hospitalized last April due to a Covid-19 infection, this 45-year-old man living in Lyon (Rhône) was forced to be plunged into an artificial coma for nine days. Today, he still has many important and disabling consequences for his daily life.

Diabetes, kidney failure, hallucinatory delusions … this 45-year-old man is multiplying the repercussions following his passage in intensive care due to contamination with Covid-19.

For the moment, his priority is to relearn to walk, which occupies him full time. “My life revolves around what I have to do for my rehabilitation,” he testifies.

He nevertheless wants to transmit his story, soon to be published as a novel. Like him, more than two-thirds of patients come out of intensive care with physical sequelae.
