Corona virus: Saudi Arabia imposes new rules on shopping malls

Riyadh: Government measures are underway to prevent the spread of the corona virus in Saudi Arabia, in this regard, new restrictions have been imposed on markets and public places.

Informed sources in the Saudi Interior Ministry say that three more rules have been added to the rules and regulations issued on the 29th of Ramadan regarding precautionary measures against corona.

According to the Saudi News Agency, new restrictions have been imposed on commercial establishments, malls and events. Ministry sources said in this regard

Violations have been reported, including allowing non-vaccinated people to enter commercial establishments and malls.

The second violation is to allow overcrowding in commercial malls with a maximum capacity of 100 persons without using the Gathering Permit, while the third violation is to allow more than the prescribed number of people in any commercial establishment at the same time. Involves being present.

The punishment for these violations has also been changed. A decision will be taken on the report of the inspector of the concerned institution under which the perpetrator can be sealed for six months.

Sources urged that strict adherence to the prescribed SOPs be followed to avoid violations so as to be safe from Corona.
